How to set up the Stella

Part of our quality service includes assistance in establishing a smooth set-up process for your new equipment. We want to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible in handling your new espresso machine. The instructions that follow will guide you in getting your home commercial espresso machine ready for operation and enjoyment.

  • Fill the removable water tank reservoir with filtered, tap, or drinking water
  • Place the machine in your desired location.
  • Insert the power cord into 110V outlet.
  • Turn the machine to the ON position indicated by the green light. The orange light will turn on indicating that the boiler is being filled by the reservoir. (The orange light indicator will also activate and have an acoustic alarm when the reservoir is low. When this occurs, fill the reservoir & reset machine by turning it off and then on).
  • Refill the water tank reservoir depleted from filling the boiler.
  • Wait 8-10 minutes for the boiler to heat up and/or when the pressure gauge (located on front of machine) reads 1-1.5 bars of pressure. If the pressure climbs beyond 1.5 or does not increase at all, release initial steam by opening the steam valve and then closing it.
  • Espresso machine is ready for use once the pressure gauge reaches 1-1.5 bars. CAUTION: As the machine heats up, the group head becomes hot!

*The authentic style of this commercial grade home espresso machine exposes the group head. When the machine is on, the group head becomes hot. Operation of the machine is intended for adult usage and caution should be exercised in the presence of children.
